JULIA OSEN AVERILL

Picture
Julia Osen Averill began her career in New York as an actor, but has gradually shifted into production work and applied theatre. For the past several years she has worked as a teaching artist for pre-school and elementary schoolers, bringing story books to life and teaching about empathy through theatre arts and play. Currently she is a member of The Honest Accomplice Theatre which seeks to present marginalized or taboo topics in a public forum from multiple perspectives. Currently H.A.T is working on a production called The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged, which seeks to address some of the misinformation and stigma surrounding female sexuality. Julia is also an avid member of LezCab, where she challenges the conventionality of traditional musical theatre, while singing her face off.
